“Seonghwa,” Wooyoung pushes himself upright on the couch, the shift immediate, as if he’s caught the sharp undercurrent threading through Seonghwa’s voice. “What exactly are you planning?”
“It isn’t complicated,” Seonghwa says, something almost electric settling beneath his skin as the idea takes hold. “By the time I’m finished, Hongjoong will be the one begging to end the engagement.”
Wooyoung’s expression tightens. “He’s determined to marry the omega heir,” he counters.
“I’m going to make him fall for me,” Seonghwa says. “Slowly, deliberately—I’ll work my way in until there’s nothing of him left that isn’t mine. Call it a siege, if you like.”
His gaze sharpens, something colder settling beneath it.
“And when I’m done, I’ll break him so thoroughly he won’t be able to stand being anywhere near me.”

"They’re disgusting," Yunho wheezed, wiping imaginary tears as Jongho squawked indignantly beneath Mingi’s grip.
Seonghwa pulled back just far enough to glare, his lips still swollen from Hongjoong’s kisses.
"You’re all grounded," he hissed, but the effect was ruined by Hongjoong biting his neck to muffle laughter.

Louis has always prided himself on making plans. His freshman year of high school he’d spent the entire night color-coding a five-year plan to get him to the exact career that he’s in today.
When his parents wouldn’t let him and Zayn see the midnight premiere of the final Harry Potter, he’d crafted an intricate slideshow mapping out each outcome that his parents were worried about and countering every argument they’d tried to give. Just last week he’d sat down with Harry and forced him to listen to his ten-step process for them to secure the front row at their favorite artist’s show.
It’s with this experience under his belt that he starts to devise another plan. One to start pulling his weight and also to prove to Harry and everyone that he is very much capable of fending for himself, thank you very much

“Louis,” Zayn suddenly sits up from the couch, no doubt recognizing the thread of menace that has laced Louis’ tone. “What do you intend to do?”
“It’s simple,” Louis replies, already feeling a tingle in his bones as a plan begins to formulate. “In the end, Harry will be the one to call off the engagement.”
“Harry is hellbent on marrying the omega heir,” Zayn points out. “I have a hard time seeing how you will convince him to do such a thing.”
“I will make him fall in love with me,” Louis announces slowly, ignoring Violet’s tiny scratches against his thigh that feel an awful lot like a warning. “Piece by piece, I will come to take ownership over his heart. An invasion of love, if you will. And then I’ll shatter it so violently that he will be unable to spend even a mere second in my presence.”
