    Summary

“Deku.” He says the old nickname like a statement of fact.

Izuku—who really should have seen this coming—looks around frantically, making sure that no one hears. He feels himself go bright red.

    “Don’t call me that.”

Midoriya Izuku has a boring desk job pushing papers and filing claims at the Hero Public Safety Commission. Or at least, everyone thinks he does.

Pro Hero Dynamight has incredible attention to detail. So why is he at the Commission office renewing his hero license a whole month late?

or: a weird coincidence throws Izuku and Katsuki back together after ten years apart. Katsuki is being very brave about it.

    Summary

When Izuku found his room again, he could hear music behind the door- loud, with lots of screaming and guitars. His heart sunk a little, but he tried not to pass judgement too quickly. The guy inside was alone right now, after all. He’d probably use headphones once he met his new roommate, right? Izuku took a deep breath and twisted the doorknob, pushing it open as casually as he could to hide his nerves. He thought about the greeting he'd rehearsed in the mirror earlier today.

“Hey! I didn’t see you here earlier! It's nice to meet you, I’m--” Izuku froze in the doorway, the other man in the room mirroring him. He was holding up a sweater, clearly in the middle of putting it on a hanger when Izuku had barged in. Izuku had been preparing for a lot of possibilities behind the door, but this was not on his list.

Blond, spiky hair, and eyes like fire with a temperament to match. Katsuki Bakugou, undoubtedly.

    Summary

"Don't know, but people go crazy for him. He's vulgar and rude and doesn't care what people think of him. And his songs are really catchy," Denki explains. Izuku isn't sure about that last part, but whatever.

Izuku doesn't have to like the music in order to take pictures of the musician.

Photographer Izuku is dropped from his publication when he gets into a social media feud with pop sensation, Katsuki, over an unflattering photo. Out of spite, he then takes a job offer from a trashy, but well-known, tabloid magazine. It's not his dream job, but he'll definitely be able to get his revenge on the singer by taking paparazzi photos and getting paid for it.

Maybe it'll blow up in his face. Maybe not.

    Summary

"Courting," she says, simply, beginning her pitch. Izuku's eyes go impossibly wide, already not liking the direction this is headed in. "One of the things that people love to see in other public figures is when they begin to court their prospective mates. So, I've devised a plan to stage courting rituals with you and a potential mate, all of which will be either posted to your social media or accidentally captured by paparazzi."

NightMight Pro Hero Agency is dealing with backlash from the public over their top hero, Deku, being an unmated alpha, and their concern is only growing as the Hero Ranking Polls draw nearer.

Similarly, Fat Gum Hero Agency is struggling to find a compatible alpha to calm their explosive omega, Ground Zero.

And so, the two agencies strike up a deal: plan a fake courting between the two heroes and everyone ends up happy. Right?

    Maybe.
