The first time that it happened, Jayce Talis was nothing more than a boy.
The room he had been placed in was dark, curtains closed, blocking out all the light. But blackout curtains don’t drown out sound. He could hear the whistling winds outside his window, pounding to come inside. He quickly pulled the covers over his head, shielding himself from the horror he could hear building on the windowsill.

Jayce Talis has had panic attacks ever since he was a child. They come in waves, and he has never been able to explain himself. Maybe his new partner, and working on their new dream, can help quell his racing mind.

Viktor hears Jayce rise as he turns back to the blackboard. He nearly jumps at the tentative touch of Jayce’s fingers on his shoulder. Jayce is larger than him but gentle, his voice soft as he says, “Our Hextech dream.”
Jayce’s hand drops back to his side, leaving Viktor feeling oddly cold as they both stare at the blackboard.
“Are you sure, Viktor?” Jayce asks quietly.
Viktor has never been more certain of anything in his entire life.
