Cas pulls away from Dean’s grasp, composing himself. He gently raises his right hand and cups Dean’s face, rubbing his thumb softly against Dean’s cheek.
"You don’t have to see him."
"I want to."
Dean has a straight, almost emotionless expression across his face. Cas knows this is a battle he can’t win.
“Let me go with you.”
“Okay.”
Dean holds onto Cas a little tighter that night.
