Summary
After the mountain is reclaimed the Son's of Durin slip into a healing mountainsleep, and Bilbo get's busy organising by day and sitting by their bedside at night. He just wants to see those eyes open, and then he'll go home. There's no need to stay.
Except it's addictive feeling helpful and needed.
When a grumpy Thorin wakes up, Bilbo is unsure what the problem is.
Thorin doesn't really know what the problem is either, so the other dwarves help him, by flirting incessantly with Bilbo.

It isn't every night that they sleep together, but it happens more often than not.
Their friends still don't quite get it, not to mention any potential partners of either of them throughout the years. But it isn't like that. Not to Remus, at least, so it doesn't matter if it is a bit like that to Sirius. He'll suffer the consequences of his stupid unrequited feelings in silence if it means he still gets to have Remus like this.
