“Excuse me, are you Buck?” A tentative voice calls out from his left, cutting off whatever it is that Bobby had just been about to say. He turns to see a woman walking over, smiling at him like she’s greeting an old friend.
“I’m.. uh, yes?” He replies, ears still ringing with the words exhausting and suck it up and bail me out of jail.
Her answering grin is delighted and Buck can’t remember the last time someone was so happy to see him.
