Summary
‘When I am older, I will make you my Mate.’ It sounded so silly and yet so matter-of-fact, like it was already set and they had no other choice but walk toward that one future, that she didn’t doubt him for a second.
‘Even if I’m pink?’
‘I do not care.’
‘But can we?’
‘We will anyway. That way, we will always stay together. It is a promise.’ The young Na’vi offered her one of his rare smiles where he squeezed his eyes and wrinkled his nose, ending up looking like one of those Earth animals she had once saw a picture of.
‘Hug promise?’ River hugged him by the shoulders, giggling gleefully when she saw his violent blush. There he was, her little Neteyam!
He lightly squeezed her back after a moment of hesitation, eyes downcast and sheepish. ‘Hug promise.’

It's been almost a year since Eislyn fled Fawney Rig with Dream and accompanied him in his quest to retrieve his stolen tools. A year since he invited her to stay in his Realm and assigned her the role of Assistant in the endless Library of the Dreaming.
And all it took was a strange girl to appear in her private rooms for the balance she so carefully constructed to come undone.
For the Dreaming and the Waking world are once again threatened and Eislyn will have to choose a side, while still learning to navigate her waking magic.══════════════════

Summary
All Eislyn knew her whole life were the walls and paths of Fawney Rig, her uncles manor, never allowed to leave its Gothic confines nor walk the gardens without a chaperone. She grew up in richness, raised to be a lady, a noblewoman of the Burgess family, but a gilded cage is still just a cage.
Controlled and abused for her mysterious ability by the same man that claimed to consider her his own blood, Eislyn soon found solace and a friend in another prisoner of the manor, the only being she felt could truly understand her and who wouldn't have betrayed her to please her family like everyone else.
Alexander Burgess had her promise, as a child, never to enter the basement nor approach the eldritch creature therein imprisoned, lest it would have used her to take revenge on all of them, but freedom is too sweet a promise to let go and one captive couldn't seize it without the help of the other.
He was her last hope as much as she was his, but what was to become of her once outside the confines of her beautiful prison?══════════════════

"..You just fall into its arms because your belief undoes your disbelief" Anne Sexton
Aonung used to make fun of her clear shell; tapping the glass in a way of both belittling her and making his disgust at her presence known. However, when it's gone and she no longer reacts the way she used to, he can't help but continue the tradition.

Summary
“I don’t get it,” Lo’ak muttered, tossing a loose fiber aside. “He never talks about Earth.”
Neteyam paused. Just for a moment.
“He talks about it,” he said, though there was less certainty in his voice than usual.
“Yeah,” Lo’ak said, pushing a loose fiber through the weave with unnecessary force, “but not really. Not like he talks about here. Or about Toruk. Or about us.”

Somewhere between bad decisions, oversized clothes, and a trunk full of memories, Jake Sully’s past comes spilling out—and with it, the chance for his sons to understand him a little better.
