Summary
“Don’t you see?!” Cassandra demands, grabbing Nestor by the shoulders and shaking him. Patroclus watches the show with mild interest. “There are cool kids and there are losers, there are jocks and rich kids and geeks and goths and stoners and everything in between, and what we’re about to enter is a swirling vortex of horror wherein they all intermix.”
~~~ ~~~ ~~~
Or, in which Patroclus pines after Achilles, Achilles pines after Patroclus, Briseis plays matchmaker, Odysseus has bad ideas, Diomedes has worse ones, Agamemnon sucks, Menelaus can't hold down a girlfriend, and the entire school goes to war.
Summary
The first time Patroclus sees him, it's on the football field. He's slimmer than all the rest, leaner. He pulls off his helmet to reveal a crop of blonde curls, falling into his eyes as he grins at his team mates. The shoulder padding bulks him out, but once he's shucked all of that, including his shirt, Patroclus can see the line of his abs and his biceps, skin golden in the sun. He's gorgeous.
Summary
Ukai Keishin was not—and had no interest in becoming—a father. He’d somehow become responsible for fourteen children regardless.
