Summary
Armand’s sitting in a recliner by the window, legs propped on what appears to be a concrete block cleverly disguised as an ottoman— or maybe the other way around. In his hand is a glass of blood, mostly finished, with a blue crazy straw sticking out of it. He’s staring at Daniel with nothing behind his eyes.
“Did you feed me your blood while I was unconscious?”
“I felt we left our conversation unfinished.” He slurps the remnant of his drink; divorce seems to have shredded his air of mystery. When he lets the straw drop out of his mouth, his lips, slightly parted, are bright red. Daniel decides to look at the straw instead, which says eid mubarak in cursive.
“I got it on Amazon,” Armand offers, like this makes any sense. “It was a multipack.” He removes the straw and sucks the bottom end contemplatively, his red-red tongue removing every last drop of blood, still staring at Daniel. The back of Daniel’s neck feels hot. He’s blaming it on the vampire blood making him horny. Slowly, carefully, he rises to his feet._______
Or, Armand deals with his divorce by going on a bender.

Summary
BJ dreams of going to him, sometimes, crawling on his hands and knees and resting his forehead on Hawkeye’s lap. In the dream, Hawkeye presses his fingers into BJ’s suboccipital muscles, then his trapezius, relaxing him until he’s just a collection of bone and ligament, calcium and protein, before flipping him over and taking him apart.
He wonders what it feels like. Hawkeye always goes slack after he’s been fucked, as close to completely still as he ever gets, sweet and pliant. He thinks about it— letting go.

Summary
Hawkeye makes it exactly two steps into the street before the car hits him. It’s a duller sound than he’d imagined; for some reason he had thought it would sound like the wet crack of a bullet or the hiss of a shell. He hears voices, sees the outlines of people around him and the glitter of broken gin bottles, smells the sharp tang of blood and alcohol.. He cranes his neck to look across the street: his cat is gone.
“Goddammit,” he whispers as everything goes dark and--Someone’s knocking at the door. Water drips down Hawkeye’s face and into the basin of the sink. The knock comes again. “Yeah,” he calls as he wipes his face off.
