Summary
The 4077th welcomes a new asset: "Ray," a mysterious sniper who's also a surprisingly brilliant chef. This double-threat's hidden identity immediately sparks a fierce, hilarious debate. Hawkeye posits that "Ray" could be a woman, while Charles Winchester, whose male pride is thicker than a Boston fog, vehemently insists otherwise. Charles has staked his impeccable reputation on this impossible wager, convinced the mere notion of a skilled female sniper and chef would be the ultimate, unbearable humiliation. This is where classic Swamp behavior comes in: the narrative is steeped in pranks, subtle torture, and holding impossible leverage over one another. This entire setup is a recipe for disaster... for Charles, at least!

Summary
BJ stumbled toward the helicopter, hunched and squinting.
The first thing he noticed was the soldier’s bloody arms. They were both completely soaked, all the way up to the elbows. He wondered briefly what kind of wound would get a man in both arms, then his stomach dropped into his shoes.
BJ knew those hands. He knew those scruffy unshined boots, now caked in dirt and blood. He yanked off the transport cover and was greeted by a face nearly as familiar to him as Peg’s.
It was Hawkeye.

Summary
"You say he's got good hands. Slender surgeon's hands.
Have they touched you? You haven’t written as much, but I get the sense that they have.
Good. I like that. He seems to be another match for you. If I can’t have the pleasure of touching you, I’m glad someone else who’s decent can."
Following Trapper being sent home, he does write to Hawkeye. What he writes changes their relationship, and subsequently Hawk's relationship with BJ in Trapper's absence.
healthy doses of sex, emotional repression, angst, and some healing thrown in there.

Summary
“What is it now?” BJ asks. “Cat’s got your tongue?”
“Not quite, but you’re close.” Hawkeye chuckles.
He lifts the fabric a bit higher and now BJ can see a pair of big brown eyes stare out from the darkness beneath two shaggy, floppy ears.
“A dog?”
“Probably.” Hawkeye agrees “If you squint.”
It doesn’t quite look like a dog. More like a shaggy black carpet draped over something with four legs and a long red tongue. There is a dog in camp. None of the men seem to care, but Margaret is having non of it.

Summary
“‘The idea started when I saw my platoon’s chaplain talking a man out of killing us and then himself,’ Stewart says. ‘Back when I was enlisted. The good ol’ days, eh?’ He reaches across the table and claps Francis on the shoulder. ‘Anyway, the chaplain - Brian Davis, good man - was always good at things like that. Most chaplains are. Something about those sermons!’
Stewart gives a big guffaw, so hearty it shakes the table between the two of them. Francis laughs along politely.”

Father Mulcahy offers to spend two months at the front as part of a new army program sending chaplains to the front to ease combat fatigue.

Summary
"The truth." Hawkeye’s voice rose. "The truth is we're in Korea. And the future is whatever happens tomorrow, not hundreds of years from now. The future is whether that kid with the chest wound makes it through the night, not whether humanity decides to hold hands and sing kumbaya in space!"
When a transporter malfunction drops Julian Bashir into the Korean War, he trades dermal regenerators for scalpels and discovers three truths: frontline medicine is brutal, homemade gin is terrible and necessary, and watching someone else suffer through possibly requited love makes you determined not to do the same.
Welcomed into the 4077th MASH, Julian befriends nurses who deserve far more respect than they get, flirts with a doctor who’s far too wisecracking to actually be ok, and tries to save as many lives as he can until he’s rescued.
If he’s rescued.

there's a hole in your boot
Pink Peacoat
blood in your shoes
Yellow Crinoline
socks squelching
Real Fake Fur Stole
there's blood in your boots
A Queen Out Of DragTo the blood that drips

Summary
Hawkeye loved his family, Ben and Martha were great parents, but they weren't his parents - at least by birth. Orphaned, alone, taken into custody by the Catholic church. Signing hymns, learning Latin, surrounded by the scent of incense. He'd forgotten what Hebrew sounded like before he could pronounce his own last name.

Summary
Charles gave BJ’s shoulder what he guessed might be intended as a reassuring squeeze, but it did the opposite-BJ was startled and alarmed. Why was Charles trying to reassure him? He instinctively leaned away from the hand while trying not to move his head, as Charles, Lieutenant Epps, and Father Mulcahy appeared to have a brief conversation. They all looked slightly troubled, especially Father Mulcahy, whose eyebrows were knit tightly together, a hand wrapped around his rosary. ... God, this was infuriating, BJ thought, wishing he could understand what they were saying.

Basically, what if it was BJ who lost his hearing in Goodbye, Farewell and Amen?

Summary
Charles stormed into the OR moments later having scrubbed back up. “Where the hell is Pierce? He is usually here showing off. Typical that he disappears when...”
BJ turned sharply. “Charles. He left with the Colonel. He should’ve been right behind him.”
For Charles, the realization struck like lightning.
“Oh god, he’s still out there.”
When a sniper attacks the 4077, the whole camp struggles to get through the aftermath.

Summary
"Surgery is a sort of dance.
It requires grace to do it well. Balance. Precision. Weaving around one another in time to the rhythm of— not music, but a patient's beating heart. A squeeze on the hand in the dance hall might mean, get ready to be dipped. In the operating room, pass me the forceps.
If surgery is a dance, he and Hawkeye make excellent partners.
Which is all to say, he can't understand why it is that Hawkeye refuses to actually dance with him. That night in the O-Club, nor any night, for that matter."
Or, BJ learns, perhaps, why it is Hawkeye won't ever accept his offers to dance. Which he's not upset about at all, because he's only asking as a joke (of course).
