Summary
Leah hadn’t exactly expected this trip to be one of moonbeams and rainbows – nothing about her marriage had ever been thus – but the courtesy her husband had typically treated her with had evaporated as soon as they had landed in his homeland.

Summary
The entire point of these charades was to create convincing backstories, ones that would hold up to the scratching of any devious investigative officials. Charles was adept at hiding money trails, creating fake profiles, but these days it was the ‘softer’ forms of identity creation that created a realistic-looking life.
At least, that was what Bran thought.

When Jinu and Rumi fall into a secret emotional and very physical relationship, they know they’re playing with fire. In the world of K-pop, love is a scandal, and idols aren’t allowed to be human, but Jinu’s tired of hiding and the rules. Summary
Rumi was born with her mark.
It's nothing odd; most people are. It just means she's younger than her soulmate - that they're out there, somewhere, and she doesn't have to wait to see what it says. It means that someone in the world was born without the words on their wrist - nothing special, either.
It means she came into this world with someone waiting on her.
And to Rumi, that makes all the difference.
Or: Rumi knows her soulmate could never love someone as monstrous as her.

Summary
It’s been thirty-seven days.
She’s counted.
There’s a part of her that wonders if she should be grateful. The world is safe, the monsters are gone, the fans are singing again and the demons are locked away back where they came from. But inside her, the stage is dark and the music doesn’t start in the right tempo, in the correct rhythm, in the right tune.
And she doesn’t know how to mourn someone who gave up everything and asked for nothing in return. She doesn’t even know how to miss someone who was never hers.
Or,
Jinu burned and vanished in her arms, and now he haunts her dreams in soft smiles and lingering stares — and Rumi doesn’t know what’s worse: that he’s gone, or that her heart insists he never really left.
