"Niall awakens to the sun, and the scent of green.
The breeze lilts through the trees, soft, then strong, an undulating ebb and flow whispering in his ears. His skin is hot, and he vaguely wonders if he’s been out in the sun long enough to burn as each of his senses come back online.
There's a blanket beneath him, white and clean and plush. And behind him, a body; warm, solid, and strong. Arms, heavy and firm, one cushioning his head, the other draped over his waist.
Niall opens his eyes.
