"A few more days,” Cassandra continued in a weary voice, anticipating Ellana’s next question, “and then I will be able to join you again. Three, perhaps; maybe four.”
“Oh.”
“Enough time has been wasted already, waiting for me to recover. Commander Cullen has offered to accompany you when you leave for the Hinterlands tomorrow. He—” Ellana took a quick step back as Cassandra erupted in a fit of violent coughing. She certainly didn’t sound better than she had a few days ago, but soon enough, it was over. The Seeker scowled and rubbed balled fists over her wet eyes as she worked to catch her breath. “It is intolerable, feeling so useless. Still, as I was saying, the Commander has offered to join you and the others in the morning.”
Or, Ellana and Cullen are stuck sharing a tent while in the Hinterlands. They learn a little about each other along the way.

Summary
Kit is a rebel mage. She hates the Chantry and everything it stands for. So, no. She's not joining the Inquisition.
Why would she? To "restore order"? What does that mean, except "get all you mages back in a Circle"? She'll pass. Besides, Kit already has a mission and she's not letting go of it: free the mages, for good.
If only the Inquisition's ex-Templar Commander weren't keeping such a close eye on her...

Summary
The first time she meets Cullen, he saves her life on the battlefield. From that moment on, she's drawn to him, but with Inquisition business, the mark on her hand and the demons falling into the world across Thedas, she's so busy she barely has time to get to know him, and when she does, things can tend to get awkward. As the stakes grow higher, her feelings for him grow stronger, and they begin to form a friendship that slowly deepens. In between killing demons, hunting Samson, red Templars and the Venatori, the barrier between them is starting to dissolve. Now, if she can just survive long enough to figure out this thing between them and save the world.
