Summary
The war is over, but its reckoning has only begun.
Raised in the Muggle world Fae Miller lives in a magical society eager to rebuild—and even more eager to declare the past resolved after the end of the second war against Voldemort. As a former Auror trusted by the new Minister, she is appointed Warden of Azkaban, charged with turning a symbol of fear into one of accountability and overseeing the prison’s transformation after the removal of the Dementors.
What begins as reform quickly exposes fractures: prison records which do not align, sentences which resist explanation, and judicial decisions which seem to echo far beyond Azkaban itself. The deeper she investigates, the clearer it becomes the corruption she has uncovered is systemic.
At the same time, Fae is forced to confront the parts of herself still unexplained: abilities which made her childhood unbearable, truths reaching her without being sought until she learned to protect herself, and the mysterious connection to a certain blonde wizard—present since one fateful night, or so she believes.
Rebuilding a world requires more than good intentions. It requires asking who benefited when no one was watching.

Summary
Fae Miller had always lived in two worlds. While Orphelia Cassiopeia Xaxley, known to the world as Orphelia Miller, had been born the daughter of Caelun Xaxley and Emma Johnson, a Muggleborn witch, she had grown up in the Muggle world. After her father’s brutal murder in 1979, her mother, too afraid of the magical world and bitter over the loss of the "easy life" she had hoped for when ensnaring Caelun, had retreated into the Muggle life, hiding Fae’s heritage from her. It was a painful truth, one Fae had never fully understood, but in the small flat in East London, she had been raised without ever knowing the magical world she belonged to as more than a faint memory.
At 11 she re-enters the magical world, becomes an Auror, then warden of Azkaban, works to right the wrongs of the past commited by those who claimed to be trustworthy, while trying to solve the mysteries of her abilities and her connection to certain blonde wizard.
