Summary
The reign of King Jacaerys I, called the Judicious, is remembered as one of the most notable in the history of House Targaryen. Crowned at six and ten, he came to the throne at a time when the realm stood divided and the dragons themselves had turned against one another.
The war that marked his ascension had left the Seven Kingdoms fractured, its great houses set at odds and its future uncertain. Yet where many expected further ruin, the young king proved resolute. Through measured judgment and steadfast rule, he brought an end to the Green rebellion and restored unity to the realm.
In the years that followed, the kingdom knew a period of renewal. The wounds of war did not vanish, yet under Jacaerys’s hand they were tended with care, and the strength of the Targaryen line was secured once more. Many who wrote of his reign would later name it the beginning of a second golden age.
Of his mother, Queen Rhaenyra, the accounts are more solemn. Her death came in the shadow of war, closing a chapter marked by both fire and grief. Yet her legacy endured in the son who succeeded her, and in the peace he forged from the ashes of a divided realm.

Summary
They were children when they first met—two heirs from opposing worlds who were never meant to be friends, let alone fall in love. But Violet Sorrengail and Xaden Riorson were reckless enough to believe they could defy bloodlines, rebellion, and fate itself.
Then Fen Riorson declared the rebellion. Families burned, trust shattered, and Violet was forced to watch the boy she loved become the enemy her mother swore to destroy.
Years later, the Riders Quadrant brings them face-to-face once more. He is shadows, scarred and dangerous. She is lightning, unbroken but still haunted. Between them lies betrayal, memory, and a truth darker than rebellion.
Dragons never forget—and neither do hearts.

For Rhys Week 2026! Day 6: Daddy
Feyre plans a game night—and not only does Mor ditch, but Mor's cousin from Illyria shows up unannounced. Rhys is just like Feyre remembers: incredibly hot, out of her league, and still has that flirty look in his eye.
She's only had two one-night stands in her life. Both were disastrous. But he doesn't need to know that.

“Tattooed daddy?” he snorts. "Who taught you guys that?"
"Oh please," she huffs, standing a little taller. “Like I needed to be taught." Just as the words leave her mouth, her eye snags on the whorls of ink on his arms and neck. They snap up faster than natural.
Holding her eye, he brings his glass to his mouth. He sips, slow. Amused. Her stubbornness clamps down, refusing to break eye contact first, even as her skin starts to burn—
Finally, he lowers the glass and brushes a thumb across his lower lip. “Is that what you call your one-night stands?”
