Summary
During their travels as hedge knight and squire, Dunk and Egg go to Lys, expecting they might run into a certain temperamental Targaryen Prince sent there five years ago, (following the trial of seven that nearly killed Prince Baelor, the only other living Targaryen omega—as far as Aerion knows, at least).
What Dunk does not expect, is to find Aerion in heat and being taken advantage of in a dark alley by the very guards sworn to protect him.
Afterwards, Aerion is suffering through a suppressant overdose, not having been off them in five years in the effort to hide his omega status, and the aftermath of being raped. He must return home to his pack in Dragonstone lest he die from the sickness, (though he doesn't feel he'll be welcomed back).
Come hell or high water, Dunk vows to be there every step of the way through Aerion's recovery, no matter how much the prince tries to push him away.
(Bonus: Dunk and Aerion are scent mates—a rare bond indicating high biological compatibility.)

Shinjiro almost loses his cool on the second to last Monday of August, when the afternoons are still dragging on into the evenings, and the offer of a Special Hagakure Bowl unsurprisingly ends in another failed attempt at getting him to move back into the dorm, back into a situation he knows neither of them can handle. He should have known better; Hagakure doesn't sell the damn special on Mondays.

He wrests out his phone with a start, blinks at it almost blearily. At the top is the time, 21:38, but blaring across the cracked screen is three letters accompanied by an Incoming Call beneath it.
Shinjiro’s used to just clicking decline and stuffing the stupid thing back into his pocket whenever he sees this screen. That’s his first impulse now, too. But nobody’s around and nothing’s on, so he simply sighs and moves the phone up next to his ear.
“What’s up?” he asks.
Akihiko gets homesick.
