Summary

“Our maids are sworn to secrecy! Nobody will know.”
Wei Ying draws her close under the covers, and Lan Wangji wraps her arms around her beloved and laughs, willingly yielding to whatever scheme Wei Ying might be planning next.
“Then tell me,” she urges. “What will people find out, a hundred years hence?”
In which Lan Wangji looks to the future, and makes a quiet resolution.
