“Well, I think I definitely failed that one,” Yushi sighed, glancing at his friend Riku, who leaned casually against the wall, arms crossed and a playful smirk dancing on his lips.
“Wow, that’s a new one! What happened there?” Riku’s eyes sparkled with mischief, the familiar glint that always made Yushi roll his own eyes, even as he felt the corners of his mouth twitch in response.
Yushi raked a hand through his tousled hair, trying to maintain his composure despite the turmoil inside. “I definitely f*cked up the formulas on most of them…” His voice was steady, but a tempest of panic brewed beneath the surface, threatening to spill over like a shaken soda bottle.
“Well, my fail buddy, wanna do something to take your mind off it? How about ice cream?” Riku suggested, his tone lightening the mood like the sun breaking through a heavy cloud cover.
“Actually, me and Sion hyung are going to grab ice cream later—” Yushi began, but Riku cut him off, a teasing glint igniting in his eyes.
“You and Sion hyung again, huh? What’s going on between you two?” The question hung in the air, thick with curiosity, as if Riku had just unearthed a hidden treasure.
