Summary
One day a ferry came in, instead.
This wasn’t unusual, per se, many ferries and boats laden with tourists docked on the island every year, and were chased back off again afterwards. Sometimes she joined in on the chasing, sometimes there weren’t enough of them to warrant doing so without fully appreciating the way they reacted to her wild eyes and bizarre gestures behind a plaster and acrylic painted mask.
This ferry cradled someone in its hold, aside from the usual tourists and nobodies. Someone important.
Someone interesting.
She caught a glimpse, as the boat docked and people wandered off, of a woman walking quick and orderly, hair tied back and dressed formally, not taking in the sights but rather scanning the streets and harbour for – Winter wasn’t sure.
A wave crashed against the rocks behind her, splashing her briefly before falling back down to the sea. But Winter’s eyes were focused inwards, this time, to the shore where the new policewoman was disappearing around a bend in the street.

‘Try gouache next time, the paint won’t build up as much since it’s thinner and easier to blend. Plus be quicker! I painted three in the time it took you to do that!’ He laughed, his eyes shining, and then he was gone and Lucy could breathe again.
She glanced over at where he had been set up. Sure enough, three paintings were sat leaning on the legs of the table. Two of them seemed finished, though the messy and less artistic brushstrokes could have convinced her otherwise. The third was not finished, and was the one he had been painting as she came in. It was the only one on canvas, the other two on cheaper cardstock.
The edge of Lucy’s mouth twitched. He was lecturing her, and he couldn’t even finish one good painting?The fairy tail guild, but as a school of the arts! All of the characters are in different arts programs, including painting, illustration, sculpture, dance, singing, orchestra and band.

Summary
Midoriya Izuku just wants to lead a quiet, peaceful life. This is foiled by the fact that a) he can see spirits, b) his good nature demands that he help anyone he sees in trouble, and c) he, by all rights, should not exist.
Helping the heroes who have fallen victim to the new quirk-breaking drug is a terrible idea for many reasons, the first and most important being that he hates attention and avoids it like the plague. But he's the only one who can help, so he does.
This is, Izuku decides as he breaks in, more trouble than it's worth.
