Kaveh sighed heavily as he walked into the house, but he was unexpectedly greeted with a delicious scent wafting from the kitchen. Kaveh’s eyebrows unfurrowed and the tension in his shoulders seemed to melt away as he breathed it in. He set his work bag down and walked into the kitchen.
He gasped softly at the sight of an empty sink and a nearly-finished dinner, Alhaitham in the middle of it all.
