Eleven is seven months pregnant, kneeling in the NYC snow, and watching the life fade from Mike Wheeler’s eyes. He is trapped, kept alive only by the same twisted metal that is killing him. There are no monsters to fight this time, no powers that can fix a broken heart, and no way to rewrite the ending.
In his final moments, Mike isn't a hero or a leader—he’s just a husband saying goodbye to his wife and a father meeting his baby through a car window.
An inverted take on the finale: the Paladin falls, and the superhero is left behind to carry his memory into the light.
