It’s Alex’s birthday in New York City, and life is just a little bit better than he would have ever imagined.

“Family trouble. Interesting,” Toni says. She thinks about the bottle of vodka Shelby bought at the gas station that day, and what that might have to do with the family issues.
“Stop. You’re becoming, like, Malfoy-level obsessed with her,” Martha says. Toni sits up abruptly, “I am not. Also, stop referencing your gay Harry Potter ships in my presence.”
Toni doesn't expect to fall for anyone in her senior year. Least of all for Shelby Goodkind, the new girl that arrived in town just before the end of summer. In fact, Toni can't even look at her for longer than two seconds, or listen to more than three sentences coming out of her mouth without wanting to accidentally push her off a cliff.

A typical Friday night does not involve running into his ex in the emergency room, it doesn’t involve Harry trying to convince everyone that he can’t be on drugs, that there has to be something else.

In the too bright light of the men's bathroom, his skin doesn't seem as tan as it did a few hours ago, it looks really, really fair. And his eyes. Deep, ocean blue eyes, glittering with laughter and happiness.
When Harry agreed to participate in a BuzzFeed video, he didn't expect that it would have any consequences. It was basically just a favor, he owed Niall one anyway.
