Summary
Will Mahoney is starting at a brand new school in a town he hates. After making a new friend, or a couple of new friends, and joining clubs he typically avoids, he finds himself realizing that most people are different than what's expected of them.
Coy Piso never really fit in with his usual crowd. That is, until he meets Will. He forms unlikely friendships that make his senior year more memorable than he ever thought it could be.
Anthony Potero loves football. He really does. He likes seeming like he has a ton of friends, too, not that he actually does. He's really only close with Hanbon, until an accident and a group project lead him to something he couldn't have expected.
Hannah Bonaldo loves her friends, and she also loves meeting new people. She always wonders why people she isn't friends with seem scared to talk to her. Her best friend, Jazzy Anne, transfers schools, so she decides to branch out. A head injury and a broken arm, surprisingly, help her cause, and she comes across people who will change her forever.

Mid 2000s Highschool AU. Coys gotta big old crush on his best friends brother, Hanbon is his best friend. Anthonys her brother. And Will is there too.
“Y-yeah! Sorry..can I talk to Hanbon?” Coy says quickly,
“yeah she's in the bathroom, she'll be here in a sec”
“Cool.”
Theres an awkward silence and Coys brain searches for anything to bring up to start a conversation. He can still hear Anthony's gentle breathing over the line.
“Shouldn’t you be at practice right now?” Is what he comes up with.
Anthony doesn't respond for a beat and Coy squeezes his eyes shut. Why did he say that? Anthony probably thinks hes a total wierdo for memorizing his practice schedule.
“Got canceled. Coach had a thing.” Coy can hear cabinets opening and closing on from the other end.
“Oh uhm- sorry.” He’s not sure what to say
“Yeah, I'll probably just shoot some hoops in the front yard so it's no big deal.” He hears a fridge door open.
“Y-yeah I bet!” He says it too fast with forced laughter. He immediately squeezes his eyes shut. But he hears Anthony let out a short amused giggle.
God how long does Bon need to take in the bathroom. I mean he knows she has Ibs but-
