"Ah, sorry," the boy murmurs, ducking his head and leaning to pick up the bottle, but it's too late. The other three pairs of eyes in the room are on him now, like they had forgotten Taehyung was here, too, and Jimin positively beams at him.
"Taehyungie!" he exclaims, startling Taehyung again, damn near making him drop the bottle a second time as his eyes dart to the door where their three friends have migrated. "What are you doing tonight?"
"Uh," Taehyung starts, straightening up to clear his throat. He hands the water bottle to Yoongi without looking at him and rubs at the back of his neck. "Laundry?"
Fucking idiot.
"Perfect," Jimin says, clapping his hands together like it's all settled, "you can babysit hyung."
