They both join the rest of Karasuno, Nishinoya and Tanaka skipping stones onto the lake, Yachi and Kiyoko conversing lightly over scrambled eggs.
“I came for you too, Tsukki.”

He hears Yamaguchi's fingers softly dragging against the door, and he thinks he can guess what Yamaguchi might be doing: he thinks back to countless memories of an anxious Yamaguchi tracing shapes into his desk, the gym floor, sometimes Kei’s back. Is he nervous too?
Kei stifles the urge to reach out.
“It's just a stupid game, you know. We don't really have to do anything,” he says instead, and he can feel Yamaguchi’s hair brush lightly against his cheek as he speaks.

But Suga was 50% sure it wasn’t just what she said- that there was some hidden meaning somewhere between the lines.
Ashai rested his chin on his hand, “I have seen him whisper something to Tsukishima before Tsukishima makes one of his comments,”
“So Tsukishima only makes comments so his friend will laugh. The same friend who is making half of the jokes,” Suga said slowly.
Kyioko made a noise, not quite a hum but something that sounded like ‘you’re missing something’

“The Greeks also-” he swallowed and averted his gaze, “In Plato’s Symposium, way back in 385BC, the first concept of soulmates was published.”
Yamaguchi looked up at Tsukishima, stunned. He could read between the lines. “Oh?”
“I think you’re my soulmate.”
“I think you’re my soulmate, too, Tsukki.”
