Summary
You never really know how far gone you are until you take a step back and assess the aftermath. Once it’s too late, you figure out how far past that line you went. It’s like you lose yourself in that time. Like you lose all sense of control, all shreds of preservation, or patience, or care with yourself. It’s hazy at the moment, and when you look back to try and remember how you got there. But the aftermath of what you’re left with is painfully clear, physically and mentally.
