Summary
Will covers his ears with his hands and cries.
He does not know how much time has passed when he feels a gentle hand on his shoulder. The first thing he sees when he opens his eyes is Mike’s concerned face peering down at him, expression wide but knowing.
Will feels something deep within him unravel, as the coiled snake finally loses its hold on his body. Mike’s hand feels safe and warm and clean. Despite what many people would think and the names they would call him, he never feels dirty when Mike holds him. He just feels at home.
