She can’t sleep.
It’s only been five days working the night shift, and she still can’t get herself to sleep during the day. It’s a constant drift in and out no matter what time it is unless she’s actively on a call. Even when her shift is over she can’t help but dread going back to her bed with light streaming through the curtains telling her to do anything but sleep.
Or
Lucy can’t sleep well during the day, and Tim offers her a place to relax. Plus a good ol' much needed conversation.
