Bokuto and Miya always come in right after the breakfast rush, accompanied by different members of the Jackals every day. The group changes, but Bokuto and Miya are always there, in the periphery of Kiyoomi’s vision as he counts the money in the register before lunch.
Miya, true to his word, asks Kiyoomi where he attends classes every morning he comes in. When Kiyoomi steadfastly refuses, he upgrades to asking and dropping shitty puns and pick-up lines.
“Are ya a croissant? ’Cause ya’re flaky, warm, and I wanna butter ya up,” remains one of Kiyoomi’s personal favourites, and he doesn’t admit to anyone, not even Motoya, how Miya’s flirting causes his face to burn under his mask. It’s ridiculous, immature, and he likes it too much.
He hates himself.
He hates Miya Atsumu and his raffish charm.

He played it off as a casual question, but Kenma sensed the underlying seriousness in the almost delicate way he asked—vulnerability seeping through his voice despite the attempted nonchalant delivery.
“I couldn’t even if I tried,” he admitted as his head lay on Kuroo’s chest, the older man rubbing his back like a cat. It was intimate moments like this that made Kenma question everything, having to remind himself that they were just friends.
Kenma has depended on Kuroo all his life—to feel comfortable, to make friends, to be understood. Until he realizes that he’s gay, and that he has to go on this journey of self-discovery himself, lest his secret feelings for his straight best friend make things even harder.
So he ventures out to college on his own in an attempt to understand himself and his sexuality, and to prove to himself that he didn’t need Kuroo by his side to do it (also to tamp down his feelings for the guy, but that proves to be much more difficult).
It makes him feel freer than he thought, and it makes Kuroo feel a little sidelined. Realizations ensue.

Atsumu opens his mouth. Closes it. Opens it again. “In what?”
“The plan!” Bokuto spreads his arms wide.
Atsumu groans, burying his head in his towel as the team scatters around him in excited fragments of chaos.
"Of course he's in." Tomas snorts, jabbing Atsumu's head with his finger. "'Tsumu would die if he saw Kageyama setting to his Omi-Omi ."
"Would not!" Atsumu whips around, horror on this face.
"Would too!"
when rumors spread that sakusa is thinking about leaving msby for the adlers, the team devises a plan to convince him to stay. atsumu miya, torn between pride and something he can’t name, finds himself at the center of it all, trying to convince sakusa that what they’ve become is worth staying for.
