And something seems to have shifted recently. The longing glances and the way they tease and talk and just generally invade each other's space has gotten worse. They could be so happy, Wes. They could be so fucking happy.”
Angela shakes her head and finishes her glass of wine.
She just wants her friends to be happy.
She wants Tim to have everything he wants, because he fucking deserves it. He deserves to be loved the way Isabel should have loved him. He deserves babies and happiness and happily ever after, and Lucy could give that to him. Lucy desperately wants to give that to him, if what Angela has observed is any indication, but unless something or someone literally forces them together…
“Oooooh,” Angela breathes, and she’s suddenly grinning from ear to ear, her hands clasping in front of her chest as she turns to Wesley.
