Wille is concentrating hard, the tip of his tongue poking out between his lips as he carefully outlines the tree in green and fills it in, adding blue and yellow baubles and a string of red tinsel. His boyfriend is not taking the task so seriously, and Wille promptly tastes sugar on the end of his tongue, where Simon has just scooped a bit on his finger and swiped it against Wille's mouth.

Wille can't stand Christmas time in the palace, so he decides, for his own sanity, to take a few days for himself in Bjärstad. Only, one very important person - his mother - is not included in this plan.

Simon blushed, and dropped Wilhelm's gaze, eyes focused somewhere around Wilhelm's collar bone instead. Carefully, he pressed forward until their chests were touching, and Wilhelm stifled a gasp at the unexpected contact.
"I said yes, because it was you who asked me," Simon whispered simply, staring straight into Wilhelm's soul. "How could I ever say no to you?"
