But Alberu chuckled. Low, warm, rumbling from his chest like thunder wrapped in velvet. He shifted Hyuna higher in his arms, one large hand rubbing her back. "Sorry, manager. Looks like my daughter missed me."
The words hung in the air. Photographers blinked. Fans gasped. A stylist dropped a powder puff.
"Daughter?" someone echoed. Hyuna peeked out, sniffling, her rich dark brown skin flushed from crying, gray eyes locking on Cale. She waved weakly.

With the next Hunter household out of reach for now, Cale and Alberu decided to invite the Heavenly Demon to Roan for an interdimensional meeting.
Cale tried to ignore the attraction he felt for the sect leader, failing quite spectacularly.
Luckily, the Heavenly Demon was in the same boat, just without the 'trying to ignore' part, replaced by 'actively seeking Cale out'.
