Razor tells him, “You have a place here,” and there is a deep crease between his eyebrows as he glances at the floor and continues. “They have made a place for you as a knight. I don’t know what that’s like.”
“You have a place here too, Razor.” Albedo’s throat is tight, strangely so, and a prickling feeling starts behind his eyes. The blonde’s hands are sticky with a layer of perspiration and he opens and closes them into fists as he awaits the teen’s response. He’s always been clumsy with his words--even with Klee, a child, he’s bumbling and awkward and nervous and clammy and everything adds up to make up a being that’s horrible at communication.

Kazuha pushes himself to his feet, alarmed at how okay he feels. No aching knees, no tight scar tissue in his hand, no… anything. It’s warm, sunny, the even breeze filling his ears, and ahead of him stretches a tall forest of cherry trees with crimson leaves and blanketing branches.
And Tomo.
Tomo, with leaves caught in his sandy hair and his arms full of cherries. He stares wide-eyed at Kazuha like a kid caught mid-bite into a cookie they shouldn’t have.
“What the fuck?” Tomo says
OR, Kazuha is killed by the Raiden Shogun, but the people who love him most won't stand for it.
