Batman’s back was towards her, sheathing himself in his murky dark cape and looking like darkness personified. She wasn’t sure where he ended and the shadows that greeted them on the dingy rooftop started. All she was sure of though, was that he was displeased-upset-failure. That last piece wasn’t known if it was towards her or himself.
“We,” his back was still away, making her feel small-small-small in comparison to his big-big-big. “Are going to have a talk when we get home.”

Now that the dust has settled, Kaiman is content with working at the Hungry Bug. But what was it that he was searching for before? And how long ago did his search first start? While he's realizing the answer, Hole has gotten a lot busier. Dokuga and Tetsujo are working at the Hungry Bug too. Asu and Risu's visit turns into a prolonged stay. Kasukabe is back. Kaiman now has to juggle four lifetimes worth of relationships.
