Summary
It’s been a year since Elain and Azriel almost kissed at solstice. With Rhys still prohibiting Azriel from confessing his love to her, even their friendship seems over at this point. While Elain gets to know Lucien better despite her feelings for the shadowsinger, Azriel tries his best to not put her in danger by angering Rhys.
But then the inevitable happens: Elain and Azriel start getting closer again, despite it all.(Takes place after Azriel’s bonus chapter at the end of ACOSF.)
