“You’re so annoying, Lan Zhan.” He doesn't entirely succeed in keeping the fondness out of his voice.
Lan Zhan tugs on his hair slightly in retaliation. It doesn’t hurt, but Wei Ying still cries out. “Aiya, Lan Zhan! Stop hurting this poor man! I’m being tortured!”
“Would you like me to stop?” Lan Zhan asks, with that irritating tone of his voice that Wei Ying can already recognize as: being a little shit.
“Now he’s threatening me! Lan Zhan really is the worst.”
“Wei Ying,” Lan Zhan says, his voice back to that soft tone Wei Ying loves so much. “It’s my turn.”
“Yeah, yeah.” Wei Ying flops his hands around. “Go ahead. Try to be a little more original this time.”
Wei Ying gets locked into the university’s library on a Friday night, without electricity. Thankfully, he’s not alone. Now he’ll just need to come up with ways to pass the time with Lan Zhan, in total darkness. -
