She fought the tremors in her body and summoned every last ounce of energy to stay steady.

    After the battle against Rerir, Nefer is left blind and dependent on Lauma’s care for her recovery. The event pulls the two women together, compelling them to face the undeniable closeness that neither can easily dismiss.
