Summary
Minho is left with no other option than swallowing down his discomfort and marching ahead. Kissing Hyunjin on the forehead every morning before insisting he is more than happy to take the kids to school, taking song requests from Jeongin and Seungmin on the way to school just to see them get out of the car with a smile, and then pressing Jisu down onto the back seat of her car with less guilt than he should probably feel.

There’s a certain amount of irony to everything in Jisu’s life. Like how she lets go of his boyfriend's hand the moment she first sees Minhee and convinces herself it doesn’t mean anything special.
Seungmin doesn’t seem particularly bothered by it, he just keeps talking to the people in front of them, completely oblivious to how Jisu follows the beautiful girl around the room with her eyes. And there’s some irony to that too.

Atsumu pulls him just a little bit over the table, and Kiyoomi’s torso brushes against the surface as he follows the movement. “M’kay. Do ya wanna shower first?”
“Yes, please. Atsumu, what are you—”
And all the air is sucked out of the room when Atsumu absentmindedly slips the paper shaped exactly like a fucking ring around Kiyoomi’s ring finger.
He realises his movement a second too late, and when he flinches away, it’s already done.
They’re not dating. They’re not really anything that matters. But there’s a ring on Kiyoomi— cheap and ugly and paper-straw-wrapping-y— and Atsumu nearly coughs out his entire heart onto the table.
Kiyoomi, Atsumu, and "casually" stumbling into love.

Summary
He stares at the roach, notices how it’s smashed over a photo of him and Osamu. They're standing in the garden outside. Its flattened corpse is smeared directly over Atsumu’s smiling face. He closes the album and slides it under the bed. He turns off the light and tries not to view it as a sign.
Or: Atsumu grows up, confronts his past, has a meltdown, and finally embraces the future. Just...not necessarily in that order.

When sunflowers stare at him unblinkingly, it feels taunting. When Sakusa does it, it makes Atsumu feel like their five centimeters height difference is, in fact, much larger. “Probably since around the time you joined the Jackals,” Sakusa says, unblinking.
Atsumu’s heart cartwheels like Sakusa is actually trying to say something else. His mouth, however, can only come up with, “Four years? Damn, that’s a long time to be pining.”
Osamu kept telling Atsumu gymnastics weren't easy when they were playing on the monkey bars as kids. Really, Atsumu should've listened.

A cheer goes up through the crowd as the Black Jackals score another point.
It is the fourth set and they hit 20 points first.
Kiyoomi would be thrilled, focused in on maintaining their momentum and finishing the match as cleanly as possible. He would be planning for his next serve (he needs two more aces to be ahead of Miya again, but he thinks he can do it). He would be turning to his teammates to celebrate with them (and to make sure they don’t get too physical with him).
Kiyoomi would be happy.
Instead he is crumpled on the floor.
