Summary

“Can you look at me?” Mike’s voice sounds strange. Thin.
Will slowly turns around. His eyes land comfortably on Mike’s chin, but he feels the boy’s eyes digging into his eyelids, so he forces himself to look up. This cannot possibly be what Will thinks it is. It can’t. Mike might tell him about recurring nightmares that’ve been bothering him, or the anxiety that’s been eating him up about his hospitalized parents, or maybe he’s going to start complaining about his withering relationship with El, but it cannot be that, right?
Or
Mike doesn't waste any more time repressing his feelings for Will. Breaking limbs with his badass mind powers is enough of a cue for him to confess.

He never answered his calls, and had be ignoring him the entirety of their reunion has a party in New York, where Will lived and was attending college. As they go out bar hopping two nights before their trip ends, Will ends up absolutely wasted, Mike needing to take him home, and a massive, tension filled confession shared between the two that morning.

Despite the warm temperatures of his bedroom, Simon J. Paladino was cold. Even with the thick, wool blanket pulled up to his ears, he was freezing. Maybe it's because he was naked- but deep down, Simon knew why. It was the still, slow breathing of the body that was lying on the other end of the bed: Jackson T. Hart. Only minutes ago, ironically, Simon's body felt as though it was on fire. Only minutes ago, Jack allowed Simon to touch him, whispering pure honey into his ear. But now, Simon was freezing- frozen in distance that was only a matter of inches. Jack never let Simon touch him after their... Intimacy was finished, and Simon could understand why. That heat Simon had felt only minutes ago was radiating from the fires of hell- something that he would have to endure if he dared allow his fingers to graze Jack's. Even if it was only a moment- even if it was accidental. After all, between him and Jack, even behind closed blinds, intimacy was sin.
Over the course of the story, Jack and Simon begin to better understand one another, but only when the blinds are open. While their shared bedroom is exposed through their only window, their feelings blossom into undeniable, unapologetic love.
