Beomgyu slowly gets lost once again, as Taehyun’s voice rang around him singing about learning how to love someone for 10,000 hours or the rest of their lives, and he starts to think.
To daydream, to yearn, to hope. What would it be like, what would it feel like, to have that with Taehyun? Maybe it was too early, maybe it was the whole vibe of the wedding, maybe it was the overflowing emotions he feels for the boy—but even with the reality of the unknown future, Beomgyu felt certain it was only Taehyun’s hand he would ask for.

Summary
choi beomgyu’s life takes a 360 degree turn when the reality he knows of is disrupted by the fact that he, and everyone he knows, are living inside a book— a fictional world created by someone’s imagination and if that’s not appalling enough, he also finds out he is but the protagonist’s best friend, a mere side character to a forbidden love story between yeonjun, his best friend and the crown prince, choi soobin.
“desperate times call for desperate measures” they said, so after failing to turn things in his favor and become the main character, beomgyu meets kang taehyun, a well-disciplined yangban known to never break the rules— the book’s antagonist.

Beomgyu's misfortune is evident when it comes to the dating department. But luckily, he’s not the only one enduring the same thing: his best friend, Choi Yeonjun, is having the same problem too.
So he comes up with a brilliant plan, which involves the two of them dating instead, unaware of the chaos that it would bring, and maybe even a few (good) things he never expected to experience again.
