Kamimura kept laughing softly “You know I almost forgot about the motive this week.”
“It doesn’t feel cold at all.” Hasegawa nodded.
”Yes… You're warm.” Kamimura answered, his hand gripped the corner of his collar, and his waist shifted.
“So are you.” Hasegawa repeated weakly as he felt Kamimura shift above him.
The air is thick again, but the silence isn't uncomfortable this time. Hasegawa instinctively moved his hand on Kamimura’s waist before he could register it. Kamimura froze.
”Sorry!” Hasegawa stammered, taking them off.
Kamimura’s hands grip his wrist, “Keep them there.”
“I—” Hasegawa mumbled.
Suddenly his heart started to beat out of his chest. Kamimura’s waist was. Particularly small. Hasegawa noted. He could perfectly touch his thumbs together around his waist if he wanted to. Hasegawa gulped.

Monomoko has taken to revamping some areas of the school, leaving the students no where to stay while they wait. Monomoko simply boxes them into pairs and has them stay like that for a few minutes. In a small metal box. together. What could possibly go wrong.Cue awkward shifting and bickering.

“Sorry for not consulting you about this, but you’re not getting much healthier undertaking all your own chores.” Kazutoshi didn’t like where she was going with this, he was perfectly happy doing things on his own. “So, I arranged a maid to accompany you and take on the tasks you’ve otherwise been completing on your own. Unlike the other ground’s staff, he will be your personal assistant. Do be nice to him please, he’s your age so I hope you get along.”
Kazutoshi was going to open his mouth in protest before he was distracted by a polite bow and delicate words.
“M-my name is Ken Hasegawa, I hope my services will be of use to you in the future.” Ken held his bow for a few moments to try and gauge the atmosphere.

In sickness and in health, a match maid in heaven when Kazutoshi is forced by his aunt to take on a maid in hopes of alleviating his responsibilities despite it being against his wishes, and the month that follows as the two of them allow for something more to foster between them.

Well, it’s not like he wanted to thank Hiroaki for some gossip he hadn’t even really asked to hear. More than that, he silently cursed him for putting the image of Shigeki and Mai entertaining the crowd with some cheesy, sloppy kiss and making him envious of their lame performance in comparison with the peck Kazutoshi had given him.
God. He’s kissed Kazutoshi. It actually happened. It still had to kick in somehow. It probably never would have.
In which Kamimura Kazutoshi drinks one glass too many, and Hasegawa Ken has to figure his feelings out while staying sober.

Kazutoshi sighs with contentment as he pushes through the door, paper bags staggered along his arm. His keys jingle in the lock. His half of the matching keychain they got from near a shrine in Nagoya clinks against the door handle.
“Home,” he calls, loud, clear, knowing that Ken won’t be able to respond.
