Summary
Every third day of the week, Chuuya works nights at the agency.
Every third day of the week, the infamous Phantom Thief dangles excitement he hasn’t felt in years in front of his face.
Chuuya never should have taken another night shift after their first meeting of that too-close encounter. He should have gone home to have dinner with his husband, he should have ignored his achingly familiar voice, he should have left.
And yet, when the third day of the week steadily approaches, he finds that his husband is no longer as stimulating as the chase for the thief who has begun to unwind him at the seams and sink his teeth into the flesh of his increasingly idle matrimony.
Midnight strikes when he hears his call; “Chuuya.”
There’s no doubt it’s anyone but him.
Tonight, he will meet the Phantom Thief again.
Only this time, cornering Chuuya to face his own matrimony as he had begun to fall for the face of an ever-growing heist.

Summary
Nakahara Chuuya, a new addition to the Yokohama EMS, makes his first call as a student EMT for a suicide, except he never expected it to be someone his age with such a lifelessness in his eyes that if it weren't for the heart rate monitor, he would think he was dead.
After making this patient who overdosed on acetaminophen, he never forgets it. Yet, after so many shifts and patients, the memory becomes grainy in Chuuya's memory. He forgets of this boy, occasionally remembering bits and pieces of the call, but never quite his face or name.
Years later, he makes a call for an attempted suicide again, but he doesn't expect to meet the boy grown up now. The man looks different now, but he still hasn't found a reason to live. After making more calls for this suicidal maniac, Chuuya begins to learn more about the patient, and himself.***TW: major character death, suicide, attempted suicide, self-harm, overdose, hanging, drowning, hurt/comfort, angst, suicidal thoughts, sexual harassment***
