Summary
Frank Langdon is back from rehab and trying desperately to find his place again at The Pitt. He also rekindles a friendship with Mel King. Over months, and eventually years back in the ED, his unlikely friendship with Mel intensifies and grows. From coworkers, to friends, to best friends, to-- Frank is unsure. He doesn't want to sacrifice his friendship with Mel.
He knows she's too good for him, but Frank never claimed to be a selfless man.

Summary
Sevika had been watching the bartender for months. At first, it was completely selfless. She wanted to make sure the new blonde behind the bar wasn’t a liar, or worse, a rat. There was nothing she hated more than a rat. The Undercity already had plenty of those. She is a soldier, an enforcer. She doesn’t make the calls. She just executes them with no questions asked.
Now, though, Sevika has other thoughts; more selfish than what she usually allows herself to be. She knows the sweet woman’s name, but she wants more, craves more. She wants to know everything there is to know, until she is drowning in her. Even then, she doesn’t think she’d want to come up for air.
