Summary
Megumi had never been very good at listening and he pulled himself up so he could follow after the man some more. There were questions he needed answers to, curiosity spurring him onwards more than his own desire for self preservation. Even as he watched this stranger easily tear through four more people, Megumi followed him, so certain those same hands would never hurt him.
Megumi was three when Sukuna destroyed his village. A monster who tore people apart and ate their limbs.
He should've been terrified, scared, and he most certainly should've ran the other way.But curiosity got the better of him.

“N-No, hyung! Please.”
Soobin instantly went silent. Was Beomgyu talking to his imaginary friend?
“H-Hyung, don’t! Please! I like hi—” Beomgyu suddenly stopped mid-sentence, his eyes rolling into the back of his head.
Soobin jumped back, his heart pounding rapidly in his chest.
“H-Hyung…” Beomgyu struggled to say. “R-Run…”
Soobin’s eyes widened in horror as Beomgyu’s eyes turned completely black. He started laughing like a psychopath, his body twisting and jolting unnaturally. He crouched on all fours and started to crawl animalistically towards Soobin.
Soobin scrambled to his feet, stumbling back.
“I’m gonna get you!” Beomgyu said with a grin, showing razor sharp teeth. Except it wasn’t Beomgyu’s voice that came out of his mouth. The voice was deep and demonic.
Soobin was terrified.
Beomgyu lunged for him and Soobin screamed, throwing himself against the opposite side of the room. His back hit the wall and he slammed his fist into the red panic button.

“That’s right,” chuckled Soobin. “But do you know how it started? It started here, in this room. From a boy who used to fold a paper heart every day for his lost love, hoping each one he makes will take him closer to the day those eyes would open again.”
"Unfortunately for him, the day never came."
In other words, a hopeless love story of two childhood best friends who didn't realise what it meant to have each other until it was too late; compiled of yearning, loss, forlorn hope, unrequited love, and every tragedy in between.

“I’ll see you tomorrow, hyung. Please make sure you get some rest tonight.”
“Or else we’ll have to kidnap you and make sure you’re taking care of yourself!” Beomgyu smiles, like it’s a joke, but Soobin’s only half-convinced. It’s not like kidnapping a random, nobody of a person like Soobin would be difficult. He takes another step back. Kai nudges Beomgyu in a way that has the shorter alpha wincing.
“Hyung! You can’t just say that! You’ll scare him!”
“Aish, it was a joke! I promise!”
Nope. Soobin’s not risking it.
Ignoring the rest of their conversation about the merits and morality of kidnapping him to make sure he ‘eats enough tteokbokki and ice cream!’, Soobin turns on his heel and power walks to the back room without a single glance back.
