Almost 400 miles away in Hollywood California, lives ballerina best friends Julie, Darcie and siblings Alex and Carrie. They met when they all joined Glowing Stars Dance Academy. For the summer with their parents permission they go on a small road trip across California, but their car breaks down miles away from the closest town. They walk to the nearest place which happens to be New Haven Farm. There they meet the Patterson siblings and are asked to help on the farm until their car can be fixed. Over the course of the next two months, they slowly grow to love the place, but is that all they grow to love?

Eventually, not one, but three goofy teenage boys change her life.

Rivulets of sweat trickle down over her skin. They trace curvy lines down her spine to the small of her back from beneath the edge of the cotton t-shirt she’s tied in a knot below her rib cage. July in Houston, of course it’s hot, the air sticky and thick and has been since they started their set.
“Runnin’ from the past.” Her voice is strong, but soft, and with Luke at her side, balancing on the edge of her piano stool, leaning into the microphone, she turns to him, getting lost in his eyes as he shares her mic. “Trippin’ on the now, what is lost can be found, it’s obvious.”
Julie bites her lip at the feel of his breath on her cheek and watches as his eyes flick down to her lips as the crowd hushes to hear them, her voice the only sound carrying through the bar and out into the sweltering night.

Julie and her family moved away when she was sixteen, leaving her best friends and all of the memories of her mom behind. Ten years later, everything comes rushing back when four, familiar hot guys in a band move in next door.
“Oh, you’re in a band?” Julie asked. The guy’s vision snapped up from the card he was reading off of and she saw his eyes widen as he looked her up and down and she bit back on the pleased smile that she knew wanted to come up. Her sports bra and bike shorts were pretty revealing, but in defense it was hot and he was the one that knocked. “Where’d you move from?”
“Uh,” the guy started, stuttering, before he cleared his throat again. “Yeah, a band. We just moved from LA, actually. We felt we had, uh, exhausted the music scene there.”
“No cap?” Julie asked. “I’m from LA too! I moved away when I was like, sixteen, after my mom died.”

But it had to be today. Julie had this crazy feeling in her stomach. Not nervous butterflies. More like fireflies that were trying to zap her (Do fireflies electrocute people? She should google that). It felt like that moment her parents spoke about all the time. The day they met. And when they first spoke to each other. Her mom always says that an intense zap went through her whole body.
Are you new or nervous? Julie has been waiting a (short)lifetime to hear those words be said to her.
She walked down a few more steps in the auditorium and found a spot. It was one of the few seats left in the room that wasn’t all the way up in the back. She sat down and settled into the uncomfortable, hard, plastic chair and took a deep shaky breath. The prof was nowhere to be seen. But there was a cute boy in the seat next to her. He had sort of long brown hair that was covered with a grey toque. And he was wearing a cut off t-shirt and you could see his very nice arms. Julie’s breathing was still shaky, and his attractiveness wasn’t helping the situation.- Language:

Summary
Basically, I wanted to make myself a character in Julie and The Phantoms because I love it so much. Then I figured, why not make this a Reader/Luke/Reggie story so that everyone can insert themselves?
Essentially you are Alex's twin sister. You have always been close with him and that included his best friends. You went to the Orpheum to watch the guys perform and ended up eating the street dogs too. You come back as ghosts with them. Mostly following the plot of the show, but with many added twists and Julie and Luke don't have anything besides a friendship together (sorry not sorry.) You have anxiety just like Alex, and you both have many similar traits. This is basically the story of your afterlife with references to your life with the boys. You have crushes on both Luke and Reggie but you never told them. You never had to spend much time with them either. Now you have to manage your crushes on them without your brother figuring out OR the guys.
