Todoroki obviously returns the feelings.ALSO Shoto Todoroki is a girl in this universe specifically because I felt like having fun with it, and enjoyed writing men thirsting over her to make Bakugo mad, and honestly wanted to write Bakugo putting them in their place.

If only his father had been the type of villain you see on television, a criminal with no remorse or empathy, a caricature of evil who hurt people for no other reason than enjoyment.
It would be so easy to hate him if that had just been the case. But the simple truth is that his father could do a hundred horrible things, but a single act of kindness was all it took for Shoto to forget them all.

Summary
Aizawa doesn't think much of Todoroki Shouto when he first meets him. Todoroki's young and determined and reckless, but no more than the rest of his class.
Now he knows this: the kid is also an absolute pain in the ass.
When Aizawa tells him to do something, Todoroki talks back. He takes naps during Aizawa's class, doesn't submit homework, never cleans or pushes in his chair.
And when they're the only ones in a room, his eyes sharpen like metal, and he goes very still. He lies without reason, flinches when he doesn't need to, winces when he shouldn't. Cries like a little kid.
He should have realized something was wrong sooner.

"Who's there?" Shouto whispered hoarsely, his voice barely audible above the gentle rustle of the leaves. He strained to see through the darkness.
"Only a friend, my boy," the voice replied, its tone soothing and comforting in the quiet of the night. Shouto's heart skipped a beat as a figure emerged from the shadows, his form cloaked in darkness. He saw a tall man dressed in black.
"Are you... are you here to help me?" Shouto asked, his voice trembling with hope as he struggled to sit up. The figure approached him with measured steps.
"Can you make it stop?" Shouto pleaded, his voice barely a whisper as tears streamed down his cheeks. "Can you take away the pain?"
The man knelt before Shouto, his white hair gleaming in the moonlight as he extended a hand towards him. "Yes, my boy," he said, his voice tinged with a hint of sadness. "But you must come with me."
Without hesitation, Shouto reached out and grasped the man's hand, his fingers trembling with a mixture of fear and anticipation.
