For a long time Rhaenyra dreams; loose, hazy things she would’ve forgotten about immediately if it weren’t for the lingering fear that drifted through her mind like a stench. Alicent, appearing as she did when they were children, spitting at her and calling her a whore. Her mother, white hair slicked red, bending down to give her a bloody kiss on the cheek. Even the children make an appearance, burrowing under the covers like they did when they were small, only when she pulls the blanket away there is nothing but bones scattered around her, small, chalky white skulls grinning hideously into the dark.
