    There really should have been some sign. Some omen, or something like that. You know, the typical ‘repent all ye and despair, for the end of the world is nigh!’ type things, like the sky breaking open, or a bone-rattling earthquake, or a summer snowfall.

    Unfortunately, there is no such warning.

    Instead, there’s just two people with knives pointing accusingly at each other in the desert for the entirely wrong reasons, and so the unholy alliance is struck.

    Primrose and Therion meet up and travel together without encountering the other Travelers. This manages to both have absolutely earth-shattering consequences, and simultaneously doesn't change much at all.
