“Kacchan?”
The voice froze him in place. Too familiar. Too raw.
Izuku stood in the doorway, half in his costume, hair damp from the rain outside. His eyes locked on the mark blooming on Katsuki’s throat.
“What the hell is that?” Izuku’s voice was sharper than Katsuki expected. Almost angry.
Katsuki scoffed, pulling his shirt over his head and shoving his arms through the sleeves. “What’s it look like, nerd?”
Izuku’s brows furrowed, his expression twisting. “Kacchan…” He stepped forward, eyes wide and desperate. “Why would you—”
“Why would I what?” Katsuki snapped, his voice rising, harsh enough to echo off the lockers. He grabbed his gauntlets, shoving them into his bag with unnecessary force. “Why would I let some guy put his mouth on me? Why the hell do you care?”

Izuku got engaged with Ochako, Katsuki found out about it from the news.

“To start this last semester off, I am assigning a project.” Groans echo across the room, but the man just rolls his eyes and talks louder to be heard over them.
“I’ll be announcing the pairs now, so listen for your name and the name of your partner.”
Izuku tunes out as soon as he starts droning names. He just hopes he gets a good partner, it would really suck if he got stuck with someone who ends up making him do all the work.
“Midoriya Izuku and Bakugou Katsuki.”
Izuku looks up at his teacher with wide eyes. His gaze jumps to the blonde explosion of hair sitting on the other side of the room, blinking when he finds red eyes already trained on him.

Izuku gets paired up for a chemistry project with the infamous bad boy of the swim team, Katsuki. Fingers crossed they get a good grade.

Summary
Izuku closes the app entirely, opening his photos to find something to distract his racing mind. There’s a few pictures of himself and Ochako together, clicking one he smiles at their zoomed in faces squished together cheek to cheek. He swipes to the next selfie, feeling his heartbeat calming and his anxiety lessening as he forces himself to remember how happy he was in each one. Again, he moves on to the next picture. A shaky shot of Ochako, drinking from a glass stacked comically high with swirls of whipped cream.
His phone buzzes, a message notification popping up at the top of his screen with Kacchan’s name across it. He’s opening it before he can think to regret it–hands shaking.
Kacchan: Can’t this weekend. Taking Eijirou mountain climbing.
Kacchan: Maybe next time.
He breaks his phone.
Or,
Izuku has the suit, he's courting Ochako finally, and he has a career he loves. He's happy, isn't he?
So why does it bother him so much when he finds out his childhood friend is courting Kirishima, and why can't he get Kacchan's scent out of his head?

Summary
“Wait,” he pried as he stepped into the other’s space. His fingers lifted to curl around the edges of the mask before he could second guess himself. The man stiffened but didn’t stop him when it was pulled away from his face.
Izuku lives a life of a humble shepherd who spends 11 months of the year traveling through cold mountains. The only time he stays in one spot is when the summer solstice rolls around each year, for which his people hold a month-long festival. One night he meets a pretty man in a fox mask, and suddenly he's not so eager to leave again.
Or four times Izuku meets Kacchan for just one night at the Midsummer Festival, and one time things go a little differently.
