Hawks was sitting on the floor at Enji’s feet, like he sometimes liked to. Enji had tried to get him on the sofa the first time, wondering if his poorly cushioned twink ass would start to hurt on the hard wood floor. But Hawks had dropped his head back on the cushions and just looked up at Enji, said: ”My wings get in the way.”
Enji had sensed that there was more to it, something about the implicit possessiveness when Enji ran his hands through Hawks’ hair and Hawks leaned on his leg or into the touch. But that was just them, it didn’t need to be discussed explicitly. So that was that.
